Yakuza 4 scores 37/40 in Famitsu
SCRAWL: “The latest Famitsu is out and Yakuza 4 has racked in an impressive review score. IGN: Yakuza 3 Review
IGN writes: “I just finished Yakuza 3, and I’m pretty sure that I love it. The game looks a bit dated because it was released in Japan a while ago and SEGA took its sweet time getting it over here, the “beat all these guys up” gameplay can get repetitive, and the entire thing’s in Japanese so you better be ready to read some subtitles. But, despite all of that, Yakuza...

Final Fantasy Faux Pas
James Bishop of TheGameReviews writes: “I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t concerned about the direction that the main series seems to be taking with its newest installment, released today in the US and Europe, Final Fantasy XIII. It’s not as if I am opposed to shaking up the role-playing game genre and, more specifically, Japanese ideals as to what constitutes an RPG

Big in Japan Feb. 15-21: Kenka Bancho 4
Spike’s PSP beat-’em-up brawls its way to top software billing, outpacing fellow debut Super Robot Wars OG: Saga Endless Frontier Exceed; PSP tops hardware, barely. Most titles that appear atop Media Create’s weekly Japanese sales chart have at least a measure of international appeal.
